Estimated Electric and State Tax is billed quarterly in January, April, July and October.
Electric meters are read once per year in August. Your kilowatt hours are totaled for the year and you are billed based off of that use. You pay for your adjusted electric use in October and then your total annual annual kilowatt hours are divided by four and you pay for that use in January, April and July. This is why you get an electric bill in January even though you may not be using electricity during that time at the park.
If electric use is up over the prior year you pay an additional adjusted electric bill in October and your quarterly estimates are higher than the previous year. If electric use is down over the prior year you could get a credit on your adjusted electric bill in October and your quarterly estimates will be lower than the previous year.
You can view and print your annual electric use by logging in to your Member Web Access Portal.
State Tax is billed equally as $9.50 per site per quarter.
